Kara & Allan | Berlin Ohio Wedding Photographer

Heeeey friends! So glad you're here to check out Kara and Allan's incredibly gorgeous day.

If you don't remember their engagement session, including the awesome story of how they met... you should take a second to go look

No small detail was overlooked on this day! They planned everything to perfection.

I have one word for Allan's suit choice.... DAAAANG!

Starting off with one of my favorite portraits!

AHHHH you guys are so gorgeous together I can't even take it!

SO many cities and countries represented in this group! Love them all!

Right before ceremony time.. love this moment my second shooter Tammy captured.

And on to the reception! I'm telling you - they picked out the cuuuuutest decor!

They surprised everyone, including me, with a traditional Ugandan dance for their first dance!

Future brides take note: they used a bubble machine for their exit! Brilliant, I tell you!

Ending with some more faves taken just before sunset.

FAVORITES!

Kara and Allan, it was truly an honor to be a part of your story and capture your big day. Thank you so much!

Love, Abbey

From Kara:

Describe your wedding in 5 words: Worshipful. Relaxed. Industrial. Innovative. Heartwarming.

Funniest Wedding Memory: Getting to the reception and realizing we had nothing to cut the cake with. We took two forks and dug into the cake and pretended it was meant to be that way.

Emotional Memory: Listening to Allan say his vows.

Advice for future Brides and Grooms:: It is easy to get caught up in the details of planning and forget about The One who designed marriage and the meaning of it. Pre-marital counseling is the best investment you can make for you and your spouse and it serves as a reminder to keep Christ your focal point.

From Allan:

Describe your wedding in 5 words: Real. Awesome. Peaceful. God-filled. Beautiful.

Funniest Memory: The Dance.

Emotional Memory: The Vows.

Advice for future Brides and Grooms: God first.

First Dance Song: Etooke by Nandujja

Kara & Allan | Wooster Ohio Wedding Photographer

Soooo.. Let me tell you about Kara and Allan.

Allan is a music producer from Uganda. Like, he JUST got here from Uganda. And he had to endure some pretty chilly weather during this shoot!

Kara is one fierce gal who spent lots of time in Uganda doing missions work. Somewhere along the way, they met.. and BOOM!

I had a very difficult time choosing favorites from this session.

This is definitely one of them!

We just wandered around Wooster, Ohio for a bit, stopping along the way to shoot them being cute together.

VERY FAVORITE! Side note: If you've never been to The Spoon Market and Deli in Wooster, you MUST go.

Can we talk about how good looking they are for a minute?!

DAAAAANG KARA!!!!

We ended the evening sharing some coffee together and talking about music and our shared love of Apple products.

You two are WAY cute together, and I can't wait to capture you getting married NEXT MONTH!

Love, Abbey

Dana & Josh | Norma Johnson Center | Dover Ohio Wedding Photographer

Hi friends! I know it's been quiet around the blog lately, and I am so happy to be breaking that streak with Dana and Josh's engagement session!

These two. It was clear the moment I met them that they just make each other laugh all day every day.

And they're really sweet together.

Favorite!

Josh is a Geologist and Dana is almost done with grad school! Josh listened politely to me as I tired to ask somewhat educated questions about rocks based on my one college course.. and he didn't make fun of me once. So kind.

We had such a gorgeous evening in Dover for this session and I had so much fun just clicking the shutter as they just hung out and laughed together.

More favorites!

Dana and Josh, I can't WAIT to laugh with you more again on your wedding day in June.

Love, Abbey
